Mike Hopster, long-time friend of Amandi’s, was visiting Edmonton from Winnipeg on a summer break from his career service in the Royal Canadian Forces. The two of them are northern-bound on a road-trip through Whitehorse, Yukon Territory and on to Dawson City.
